Axel Becker
Biography
Axel Becker is a German sculptor and painter. He studied under the renowned art professor and sculptor Josip Diminić and is a member of the Württemberg Art Association in Stuttgart (one of Germany’s largest art associations, founded in 1827) and the Baden Art Association (founded in 1818).
Axel Becker has exhibited his work nationally and internationally in galleries and museums in Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, France, Monaco, the Vatican City, Great Britain, Spain, China (Hong Kong), the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Israel, the USA, Hungary, Brazil, Mexico, Austria, Greece, and Switzerland.
Art style
Axel Becker works with carbon fiber, fiberglass, ceramics, and bronze, developing his personal style primarily through three-dimensional images in a minimalist style that forms a striking contrast to today’s information overload. Simple, clear, and artistically sophisticated.
